Want to get on your bike and off the beaten track? Road Ahead Bike Tours is offering a unique, seven day/six night, semi-custom bike tour through the French Alps. Tour roads and eat in restaurants that most bike touring groups do not get to experience. In the Fall of 2006 we had so much fun touring around the French countryside with good-people, that we've decided to add another tour in 2007! Map of The Region Click map to see larger image Our tour is based out of Aviernoz, France, which enables us to stay in one location, where we can choose different rides each day. So you will get to choose your ride! A full breakfast and dinner are provided to all riders for each day of the tour, and we will be stopping for lunch (not included in tour package), at local restaurants in the quaint villages of the French Alps countryside.

Group sizes will be small, a maximum of 8 riders. We recommend that you make reservations at least 60 days in advance of your desired tour date, however making a reservation is not required. We're happy to design a tour to fit your group's needs-wherever the road might take us. Women's groups and bike clubs are all welcome, and we encourage you to contact us for a specially designed tour. Our hosts at the Inn, Roger and Sue, are fluent in both English and French. The Inn is our home base, you can unpack and get comfortable here, so that you may enjoy the rural French Alp experience. There are many incredible rides to choose from in this region. Most rides will start from or near the Inn to alleviate the stress of moving or packing- you just have to get ready to have fun and enjoy the riding. Being prepared for your tour is very important with your gear, your biking equipment, and your fitness level.
